About the team
The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth can not be underestimated. We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates. Our team is working on key business strategy planning and analytics. We are committed to bringing insights into daily operations, enabling executive teams to make strategic decisions, and keeping business on track with on-going data analytics.

The TikTok community is having a catalytic and culture-defining impact on modern retail. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our ecommerce strategy team.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the key strategy partner to the fast-growing TikTok ecommerce team; take a strategic and data-driven approach to provide recommendations on business growth
- Conduct in-depth analysis of ecommerce business, including traffic efficiency, user behavior, merchant operation, etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build short-term and long-term strategic plans and drive high impact projects
- Provide solid support for business growth through internal and external research and competitor benchmarking
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5+ years experience of strategic and analytical experience at leading management consulting firm and/or tech/ecommerce companies.
- Experience in e-commerce industry operation analysis, business analysis, data analysis, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and can effectively handle cross-functional collaboration.
- Skills such as SQL/Python will be a plus but not mandatory
