You’ll join the Business Innovation team - the “commercialization” muscle across the early pipeline responsible for partnerships and building market-based evidence for moonshots. You will be embedded into one or more moonshot projects, within the very early, mid and late stage part of the portfolio., where you’ll partner with team members to solve key challenges related to: business futuring, strategy, finance, partnerships, large markets and commercialization opportunities

- Duration: February 2025 start date-May part-time; 12-14 weeks

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be enrolled in an MBA program
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON:
- Lead market sizing, competitive and regulatory analyses, and value chain mapping for projects where markets, competitors, and/or regulations may or may not exist.
- Help identify key risks where projects could fail, and ways to stress-test them as quickly as possible by speaking to potential external partners
- Review economic models in partnership with product managers and Finance. X projects aim to become profitable businesses at scale, so this matters
- Present findings to cross-functional project leadership to guide strategy
- Work cross functionally to de-risk other non-technical aspects of projects, partnering with Business Innovation, Legal, Policy, Privacy, Marketing/PR, Operations, etc.
- Engaging with the Internship community during the program & having fun!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current MBA student with a BS/BA in computer science, robotics, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of work experience in one or more of the following: software, robotics, manufacturing, management consulting, finance, or venture capital
- Very strong strategy and analytical skills. Ability to gather and analyze large quantities of information, and turn them into insightful business recommendations.
- Good at problem stating and problem solving, and turning ambiguous problem spaces into radical solutions. Must be able to break down problems independently
- Can-do attitude, willing to learn new tools and content to become an effective thought partner with project team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (writing strategy docs, writing and delivering presentations), can interact with senior leadership and external partners with ease
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with AI & ML
- Experience working with robotics, automation, or manufacturing
- Experience with financial modeling
- Thrive on ambiguity, setting own goals and effectively delivering to them in a very fast-changing environment
- Ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things done
- Motivated by making the world a better place through technology, and wanting to be part of a team that makes this happen. Excited to go deep and learn about new and experimental technologies.
The US base salary range for this position is $109,000 - $121,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
